Adults | Computer Basics | Internet Basics | Microsoft Office Skills | Small Business/E-commerce | Spanish | Workforce DevelopmentIn 2004, Microsoft released the Unlimited Potential (UP) Community Learning Curriculum. CTCNet proposed to test the curriculum by working with five CTCNet members to review, edit as needed, and field-test the curriculum at their centers. The project and the CTCs produced 14 modified curricula adapted for specific populations that commonly attend centers. Two of the curricula are available in Spanish.
Working with Databases
Adults | Microsoft Office Skills | Small Business/E-commerceWhen you have a lot of data to organize, putting it into a database can be a big help. The right software makes it easy for you to add new data, to edit existing data, to sort data, and to group your data into useful forms and reports. These lessons will introduce you to some simple types of databases in Project 1. The later projects will teach you about relational databases, using Microsoft Access.
Working with Presentations
Adults | Microsoft Office Skills | Seniors | Small Business/E-commerce | SpanishWhen you have information or ideas to share with an audience, you must do some kind of presentation. You could just talk and wave your hands around a lot. But, most of us find it helpful to to see your points up on a screen from slides or transparencies. Printed handout sheets to take home and to make notes on during your presentation are also very helpful. All of these supplements to your words can be created using presentation software  (also called presentation graphics).
