The 16 computer lessons guide students from identifying basic hardware to sending attachment using their own Yahoo e-mail account. The materials have been available free to download since 2004. In that time, users report ACTION has proven helpful for seniors, ESL students (SPL 2,3,4), nursing home residents, adults with limited reading skills, at-risk youth, and others.

CTCNet proposed to test the curriculum by working with five CTCNet members to review, edit as needed, and field-test the curriculum at their centers. The project and the CTCs produced 14 modified curricula adapted for specific populations that commonly attend centers. Two of the curricula are available in Spanish.
