Communities Connect Network (CCN)
The Communities Connect Network (CCN) is a project of Puget Sound Center for Teaching, Learning and Technology (PSCTLT), and was formed in 2006 by a consortium of Community Technology experts from Washington State’s non-profit sector, public universities and local government with funding from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. CCN was created as a public-private collaborative for the purpose of discovering and implementing sustainability mechanisms for Washington State’s Community Technology field.
CTCNet Chicago
CTCNet Chicago is a coalition of local community technology centers, technology-focused community-based organizations and advocates who share the vision of CTCNet (http://www.ctcnet.org/), our founding organization, of a society in which all people are equitably empowered by technology skills and services.
The Community Technology Empowerment Project
The Community Technology Empowerment Project (CTEP) AmeriCorps bridges the “digital divide” for new Immigrants and low-income communities in Minneapolis and St. Paul. AmeriCorps members help youth and adults use technology to better access social, civic, educational and economic opportunities.
Austin Free-Net
Austin Free-Net provides technology training and access for the community, fostering skills that enable people to succeed in a digital age. Our computer labs and classes are open to all; our focus is on underserved communities. The knowledge we offer helps people obtain jobs, improve their lives, and participate as active citizens.
Ohio Community Computing Network
Ohio Community Computing Network or OCCN is a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to helping communities bridge the digital divide through a variety of initiatives. For over 10 years in partnership with the Corporation for National Service. OCCN ran a VISTA program where they placed full-time volunteers at community technology programs.
