California Community Technology Regional Networks

Community Technology Organizing Consortium (CTOC) A voluntary group of individuals and organizations working to achieve Digital Inclusion. Members include advocates for public access, community technology and urban development collectively making positive things happen. Drawing upon a national network of supporting organizations, CTOC activities are focused in the Greater Los Angeles Area, which includes Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, Ventura, Riverside, and San Bernardino Counties.


San Diego Community Technology Coalition (SDCTC) The SDCTC is a non-profit volunteer-based organization serving San Diego and Imperial Counties. The mission of the SDCTC is to use the power of technology to strengthen individuals, communities, and organizations

The Directory of regional consortia is a result of the America Connects Consortium's work to support regional networking/collaborating efforts through the organization of 3 regional meetings in each of the 10 Department of Education regions. This list is by no means complete but includes the local and regional collaboratives with which we have worked with during the process of planning for the regional meetings.

This document details the regional development efforts of three emerging CTC networks in the hope that the lessons learned will be of benefit to others that are getting underway.
