Easy Computer Tutorials
Adults | Computer Basics | Internet Basics | Microsoft Office Skills | Seniors
The CAAAELII Technology Project has developed a simple-language, low-literacy computer curriculum called Active Citizens Technology In Our Neighborhoods (ACTION). The 16 computer lessons guide students from identifying basic hardware to sending attachment using their own Yahoo e-mail account. The materials have been available free to download since 2004. In that time, users report ACTION has proven helpful for seniors, ESL students (SPL 2,3,4), nursing home residents, adults with limited reading skills, at-risk youth, and others.
