Program DescriptionIn the Technology Center, clients learn software applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel and how to use the Internet and how to create an e-mail account. They learn how to research health questions, including those concerning substance abuse and mental illness. They also learn how to look for jobs and housing on the Internet. A volunteer provides technology training in Spanish for the Latina Support Group once a week. Technology training for groups and one-on-one for English speaking.

Program DescriptionThe Freedom Archives has over 8000 hours of speeches, interviews, and radio programs documenting movements and movement leaders from the 1960s to the present. Interns (high school age and older) with interest in progressive history or audio production develop individual workplans that include logging historical audio materials for the Freedom Archives website and developing small-group and individual documentary projects to be presented in classrooms, on the radio, and at community events.
