Potrero Hill Wireless Internet Install Day

Volunteers are needed to assist in the creation of a free wireless network at a low income housing development in Potrero Hill. Volunteers will be divided into teams of 4 to 6 and all work will be supervised by a wireless expert. One member of each time will need to climb a ladder to install hardware.

  Deployment of wireless network will include:
 

  o  Installing wireless hardware
  o  Drilling holes and pulling Ethernet Cable
  o  Testing network

Registration and training: 1pm, installation
projects 2pm – 5pm

Must be comfortable climbing ladders, using drills and other tools.
